Continuing with the stellar work Convergence has done for local operators, AviaPhone announced today that they have contracted Convergence to provide SS7 based interconnect solution for their local loop operation in Peshawar. We are expecting this site to be commenced by PTA imminently.

The SS7 installation at avia went without a hitch (other than the usual SNAFU at PTCL). Seriously, I don’t know how they manage to keep their network up. It speaks volumes of the reliability of SS7 and the PSTN network
Looking forward to interconnect testing with PTCL and then commencement testing with PTA.
